NFL's Rams considering UW-Whitewater
Whitewater--UW-Whitewater is a possible training camp destination for the NFL's St. Louis Rams.
The Rams also are considering the facilities at UW-La Crosse and UW-Oshkosh, according to a report by Gannet Wisconsin Media.
Current Ram wide received Derek Stanley played for the Warhawks through 2007, when he was drafted by the Rams in the seventh round.
Wisconsin universities once hosted four NFL teams for training camp, with the New Orleans Saints at La Crosse and the Chicago Bears at UW-Platteville.
However, only the Kansas City Chiefs remain at UW-River Falls. The Green Bay Packers stay in the dorms at St. Norbert College in De Pere, but practice at their own facilities.
