Nominate while you shop

maurices, 2121 E. Geneva St., Delavan, 728-2589, www.maurices.com, celebrated their 77th anniversary with a $500 donation to a local non-profit organization chosen by shoppers through March 16.

"What is exciting about this donation is that our customers determine the charity that will receive this award. It's another way for us to support an organization that is important to our customers," said Sara LaCroix, store manager, in a news release.

"It's a wonderful experience to be a part of this community and we're excited about the coming year. We believe in giving back to the communities we are a part of and want to thank everyone for supporting our stores."

maurices is the leading small town specialty store and authority of the savvy, fashion-conscious customer. With more than 600 stores, they stand for fashion, quality, value and customer services. Fashions are offered in sizes 1-24 and are inspired by the girl in everyone, in every size.

"Our associates love helping customers put looks together that reflect their personality," LaCroix said. "Our customers are the best part of our job and we look forward to seeing them every day."
