On Thursday, Dec. 21 from 5-8 p.m., Potbelly Restaurant, 899 Main St., Lake Geneva, will donate 50 percent of all proceeds to help support Side by Side, a local charitable organization formed to help neighbors in need of temporary assistance.

Christmas cheer, friendly faces, great entertainment and wonderful food will be offered to all guests dining at Potbelly that evening.

"This is a great way for Potbelly Sandwich Works to show our Christmas spirit locally by supporting such a needed community program such as Side by Side, who are helping out our fellow neighbors in a time of need," said Ethan Linderman, manager, in a news release.

Side by Side offers emergency financial assistance for the residents of the Geneva Lakes area who are in the need of rent, utilities and medication aid.

If you would like more information about this group or to make a donation, please visit or call 245-9122. Side by Side Inc. meets the second Tuesday of each month at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1229 Park Row, Lake Geneva.
