Begin the season by skiing for free
Program geared to new skiers or fifth graders

Fifth graders from Illinois and Wisconsin are in luck this winter, while beginners can ski for free the next two Fridays at The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI.
Through the Wisconsin Ski Industries Association 'Passport Program,' fifth graders can ski for free at Grand Geneva Resort and Spa's Mountain Top three times this season. Grand Geneva is one of 60 locations throughout Wisconsin participating in the 5th Grade Passport Program.
Children must be pre-registered. Parents can sign up at www.skiingwisconsin.com, or by writing to the 5th grade passport program, 3487 Bohn Rd., Mt. Horeb, WI 53572.
Passport holders will receive a booklet containing three coupons for a complimentary lift ticket for each of the participating ski areas including The Mountain Top in Lake Geneva.
Booklets will also contain other discount coupons from the ski areas and participating ski shops.
Pass holders simply present their passport at the ticket window and will receive a complimentary lift ticket. Only one coupon may be redeemed per day.
Learn to ski
If your child in not a fifth grader, but is a beginner, he or she can still ski for free at The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva on Friday, Dec. 8 and Friday, Dec. 15.

The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva offers 18 challenging ski slopes, a vertical drop of 211 feet, elevations up to 1,086 feet and runs up to one-quarter mile long.
Snowboarders can tackle a specially designed half-pipe and snowboarder "Fun Park." Beginners can enjoy two non-intimidating practices hills, both with Wonder Carpet technology that provides an easy trip to the top of a short, gentle-sloping hill.
