Bloomfield Township police arrested a Poplar Grove, Ill., man after he reportedly broke into his ex-girlfriend's house on Woodbrine Road in Pell Lake and fired a gun during a domestic dispute, according to police.

Joseph D. Huntzicker, 30, was armed and on the front porch when police arrived on the scene. He surrendered shortly after officers arrived. Three handguns were recovered by police, according to a news release.

Huntzicker is being held at the Walworth County Jail. He was arrested for burglary and recklessly endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon. He will have a bail hearing Saturday, Undersheriff Kurt Picknell said.

The incident occurred about 11 a.m. Friday. There were no injuries.
