Delavan-Darien School District Referendum

Shall the following Initial Resolution be approved?
INITIAL RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,900,000

BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the School District of Delavan-Darien, Walworth and Rock Counties, Wisconsin that there shall be issued pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $1,900,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of upgrading the Darien Elementary, Wileman Elementary and Delavan-Darien High School facilities.

Shall the following Resolution be approved?

RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT BUDGET TO
EXCEED REVENUE LIMIT BY $520,000 EACH YEAR
FOR FOUR YEARS FOR NON-RECURRING DISTRICT-WIDE PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Whitewater Unified School District, Walworth, Rock and Jefferson Counties, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District budget beginning in the 2007-2008 school year be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $520,000 each year for four years, for non-recurring purposes consisting of maintaining instructional and co-curriculum programs; replacing aging technology; restoring previously eliminated curriculum materials and maintaining facilities.

BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Whitewater Unified School District, Walworth, Rock and Jefferson Counties, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District budget beginning in the 2007-2008 school year be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $100,000 each year for four years, for non-recurring purposes consisting of instructional costs related to reducing grades K-3 class sizes.
