A 68-year-old woman with Alzheimer's was missing for more than three hours early Saturday morning from her Lyons Township home, according to police.
Judith A. Miller was last seen at her residence, 1899 Knob Road, at 7 p.m. on Friday evening.
Her son checked on her before leaving for work on Saturday morning. He could not find her at her home or on her property and notified authorities, according to the Walworth County Sheriff's Department.
Search dogs and the county's Code Red mass telephone notification system were used to locate the woman. About 75 police officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians took part in the search.
Members of the east Troy Rescue Squad found Miller at 8:07 a.m. Saturday on Knob Road, about a half-mile from her home. She was uninjured and in good health, according to the sheriff's department.
