The Elkhorn law firm of Godfrey, Leibsle, Blackbourn and Howarth is conducting an open meetings seminar Oct. 30 on "how not to get in trouble" when it comes to fulfilling open meeting requirements.
The free seminar is aimed at governmental bodies, government corporations and quasi-governmental corporations. Attorneys Kim Howarth and Chris Halverson will discuss the context and implications of Wisconsin's open meetings law, as well as three appellate court decisions that impact application of the law.
