Culver’s, home of the ButterBurger, is thanking its guests for making it the No. 1 burger chain in America by offering its famous cooked-to-order ButterBurger for only $1 on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Culver’s was voted the Best Burger Chain in the Nation in the 2007 Consumers’ Choice in Chains survey conducted by Restaurants & Institutions magazine.
The $1 ButterBurger celebration will take place at more than 360 participating Culver’s restaurants in 16 states. Every order can include up to five single ButterBurgers including pickle, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise and onion for the special one-day-only price. Most Culver’s restaurants are open from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.
“Our celebration on Oct. 10 is our way of thanking our guests for their loyalty,” said Craig Culver, Culver’s co-founder in a news release. “Guests have many options for a burger, and we appreciate that they’ve noticed the efforts that go into not only making a great burger, but making our restaurants a great place to enjoy a meal. The experience each guest enjoys is the direct result of the endless passion of our local restaurant owners and their team members.”
Culver’s received the much-sought-after platinum ranking from Restaurants & Institutions magazine after more than 3,000 adults nationwide rated nearly 120 restaurant chains on eight customer satisfaction attributes: food quality, menu variety, value, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, reputation and convenience. Culver’s high scores beat out all other burger chains in the nation.
A signature item since the first Culver’s opened in 1984, the ButterBurger remains a guest favorite. The ButterBurger gets its name from the touch of butter that is brushed on the crown of the bun before it is toasted. The tasty burger is made from lean all-natural never-frozen U.S. beef that is seared on a 475 degree grill to lock in the flavor and juices.
Culver’s restaurants are independently owned and operated in more than 360 locations. The owner/operator concept has been a cornerstone of growth for Culver’s since the first location opened in Sauk City, on July 18, 1984.
Culver’s invests deeply in partnerships and programs, including its VIP scholarship program, Culver’s CaresT charitable program and countless other franchise-driven local efforts. Culver’s inaugural Day of Giving efforts raised more than $160,000 for local American Red Cross chapters in 2007.
