The Republican Party of Walworth County's office in Elkhorn will have extended hours as the November election approaches, according to Chairman Tyler August.

The office, at 7 North Wisconsin St., will be open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5 p.m. -8 p.m.

Saturdays the office will be open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

"There is a lot of excitement growing as we close in on Election Day," August was quoted as saying in a news release. "It seems every day we have someone new stopping in at headquarters to pick up yard signs and ask how they can help."

August noted the high demand for Republican campaign materials led to the opening of a branch office on Main Street in Whitewater.

"We felt a need for an office in Whitewater because we just couldn't serve all of the requests with one office.

Now we have got two great locations for folks to come join our grassroots team," August said.

August encouraged folks to call headquarters at (262) 723-6005 with any questions. "Our energetic and friendly volunteers are on hand to answer any questions people might have about our organization and candidates," said August. "We're heading into the home stretch and the Republican Party here in Walworth County is marching closer to victory every day!"
