Packer legend to visit East Troy

(Published October. 11, 2006, 8:38 a.m.)

Former Green Bay Packer LeRoy Butler will be appearing in the East Troy Middle School gymnasium at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27.

Butler, a 12-year Packer, four-time Pro Bowler, and inventor of the Lambeau Leap, will be discussing the importance of being a role model.

The East Troy Middle School Student Council is bringing Butler in an effort to raise money for the LeRoy Butler Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to the research, financial assistance, treatment costs and public education on breast cancer.

The presentation is free to the public. Autographs and memorabilia will be available for purchase that night with all profits going to the foundation.

For more information on the evening, purchasing an autographed LeRoy Butler jersey, or helping sponsor the cause, please contact John Wick at 642-6740, ext. 252 or
