Matt and Samantha Denton of Lake Geneva won the 2007 Wisconsin Wife Carrying Championship at its debut Saturday at Torpy Park in Minocqua.
Wife is a loose term in this case. It could be your wife, but it could also be your sister, or somebody else's wife or a daughter or a mother-in-law if that works for you.
