Tyson Ray, financial consultant and branch manager of the Elkhorn office of A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., 220 E. Commerce Court, B, Elkhorn, 723-7600, has earned the title executive planning consultant after completing an extensive training course offered jointly by A.G. Edwards and the College for Financial Planning.
"Financial consultants who are awarded the executive planning consultant designation have in-depth knowledge of the financial planning process and are better-equipped to meet complex planning needs of our executive clients," said Rob Pietroburgo, regional manager of A.G. Edwards' central region.
To achieve the executive planning consultant designation, Ray successfully completed approximately 135 hours of study, which addressed the investment strategies concerning concentrated positions in a particular stock, stock options, restricted stock and taxation issues. Also required were five hours of supplementary courses covering the tools and techniques that are available through A.G. Edwards to address these complex issues.
Tyson Ray lives in Elkhorn with his wife, Jenny and their two sons, Nelson and Austin. He has been with A.G. Edwards since 1998.
