Home sought for murder victims' dog

A dog owned by two sisters murdered in Delavan on June 9 needs a new place to live

(Published Sept. 5, 2007, 2:47 p.m.)

Mickey, a boxer-pit bull mix, is being offered free to a good home. Family members have taken care of the 2-year-old female since the murder-suicide.

Mickey belonged to Nicole McAffee and Ashley Huerta. The sisters and Nicole's infant twin sons were killed by McAffee's ex-boyfriend Ambrosio Analco, who then shot himself. Vanessa Iverson, a friend visiting the sisters, also was killed.

Analco was the father of the twins and a 2-year-old girl, who also was shot but survived the rampage at 309 S. Second St.

The family said it does not have the time to devote to Mickey, who needs someone to "give her the attention she deserves. Someone that can play with her and spend time with her."
