Friday, Sept. 8

Princess Pageant

6 p.m.-Darien Fire Station. The "Step Back to the '80s" Pageant is open to all girls living in Darien or having a Darien address and has three age divisions: Little Miss Cornfest, 1-2 graders; Junior Miss Cornfest, 3-5 graders; and Miss Cornfest, 6-8 graders. Contestants are judged during interview and talent contest competitions.

8 p.m.-Midnight-Bartabs with guests The Stukenbergs at the Miller Lite Stage. Acoustic folk/rock.

All day-32 Team Men's Softball Tournament

All day-Merchandise and craft show/sales

All day-Carnival rides and games

All day-Volleyball Tournament

10 a.m.-Kids Pedal Pull weigh-in

11 am.-3 p.m.-Free sweet corn

Noon-4 p.m.-Sawdust Symphony at the Miller Lite Stage. "American newgrass" string band.

2 p.m.-Punt, Kick and Pass Contest (Ages 8 - 14)

4 p.m.-Corn Eating Contest

4:30 p.m.-Milk Chugging Contest

5 p.m.-Walworth County Cloggers

8 p.m.-Midnight-Hammerschlagen

8 p.m.-Midnight-Stateline Playboys at the Miller Lite Stage. Polka/variety dance.

12:15 p.m.-Liberty Bike Ride honoring servicemen

1 p.m.-46th Annual Cornfest Parade. Prizes awarded for novelties, horses, and tractors. Ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded for first-third place floats. Judging begins at 11 a.m. Final lineup by noon.

3:15 p.m.-Packer-Bear football game

4 p.m.-Auction
