More arrests are expected after drug raids Thursday in Delavan and Delavan Township.
The Walworth County Drug Enforcement Unit reported that eight people are facing charges as a result of search warrants executed at 801 Shady Ave., 1140 Phoenix St. and 104 E. Walworth St.
The arrests came after four months of investigation in the Delavan area by the drug unit, the police departments of the city and town of Delavan and the sheriff's department, according to a news release.
-- Alex D. Garnica, 19, of 801 Shady Ave., on charges of delivery of marijuana and cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park and felony bail jumping.
-- Donelle J. Garnica, 38, of 801 Shady Ave., on charges of party to the delivery of marijuana and cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park and maintaining a drug house.
-- Antwane J. Miller, 28, of 1140 Phoenix St., on charges of party to the delivery of cocaine, cocaine possession and two counts of delivery of cocaine.
-- Seth A. Olsen, 32, of 17 Adams St., Elkhorn, on a charge of party to the delivery of cocaine.
-- Gregory P. Crusan, 28, of 1140 Phoenix St., on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, party to the delivery of cocaine and manufacturing marijuana.
-- Juan F. Nieto, 33, of 815 Phoenix St., on charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, two counts of delivery of cocaine and three counts of felony bail jumping.
-- Daniel J. Sund, 24, of 104 E. Walworth St., on charges of delivery of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a park, two counts.
-- Wayne A. Nykaza, 48, of 104 E. Walworth St., on a charge of delivery of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a park.
The drug unit reports that officers confiscated 7 grams of cocaine in the raids, along with one vehicle and two firearms.
"The Walworth County Drug Unit expects several more subjects to be arrested in the following weeks as this investigation comes to an end," the news release states.
