Wisconsin Representatives Thomas Lothian (R-Williams Bay, 32nd district) and Samanth Kerkman (R-Burlington, 66th district) will hold a budget listening session at the Lake Geneva City Hall-Senior Center from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May. 2.
Both representatives will answer questions from constituents. There is no specific topic for the session. It will be a general discussion on the state budget process and this year's budget.
The representatives allege Gov. Jim Doyle's budget includes $4.5 billion in increased spending and $3.1 billion in borrowing, accounting for an average tax increase of $2,144 for a family of four.
The Lake Geneva City Hall is located at 626 Geneva St.

Lothian represents the southern half of Walworth County and Wheatland Township in Kenosha County. Kerkman represents Burlington, Twin Lakes and much of central Kenosha County.
