Wisconsin Representatives Thomas Lothian (R-Williams Bay, 32nd district) and Samanth Kerkman (R-Burlington, 66th district) will hold a budget listening session at the Lake Geneva City Hall-Senior Center from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May. 2.
Both representatives will answer questions from constituents. There is no specific topic for the session. It will be a general discussion on the state budget process and this year's budget.
The representatives allege Gov. Jim Doyle's budget includes $4.5 billion in increased spending and $3.1 billion in borrowing, accounting for an average tax increase of $2,144 for a family of four.
The Lake Geneva City Hall is located at 626 Geneva St.
