Golf benefit set for Hawk's View

The 11th Annual Spring Golf Classic has raised $121,713 for the Special Olympics Wisconsin-Greater Milwaukee Area will be played this year at one of southern Wisconsin's newest and most spectacular golf courses, Hawk's View Golf Club in Lake Geneva, May 5-6 with an entry deadline of April 29.

The classic features a 36-hole individual medal play tournament. The field will be limited to 244 players. There will an a 8 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. shotgun start on both days and 10 flights to accommodate all levels of playing ability.

Each $170 entry fee includes green fees, cart, lunch on Sunday, 36-hole prizes, a prize fund for each flight and a $50 donation to Special Olympics Wisconsin-Greater Milwaukee Area.

Special Olympics Wisconsin-Greater Milwaukee Area provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness and demonstrate courage, to experience competition, the camaraderie and strength of teamwork and the satisfaction of having tried one's best.
