Students in kindergarten through eighth grade of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with School in Delavan will present their spring Christian musical "Joseph and the Dream Team Xtreme."
Performances will be Thursday, March 8, Friday, March 9, and Sunday, March 11.

The Thursday performance will be in the morning at 9:45 A.M and the Friday performance will be in the afternoon at 1:00 P.M. The Sunday performance will be held in the late afternoon at 4:00 P.M.

All performances will be held in the Family Life Center and are open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken at each performance.

"Joseph and the Dream Team Xtreme" is based on the Old Testament story of Joseph.
Joseph's colorful coat and dreams of destiny provoke the envy of his brothers.

The brothers hatch a plot to rid themselves of the brother they have come to hate. Joseph suffers throughout many ordeals on his journey from slavery to the palace.

With the help of God, he was able to extend forgiveness and acceptance to his brothers, even though they had caused him to suffer greatly.

Joseph's life parallels that of Jesus Christ in that they both were born of a wealthy father; both were rejected by their brothers; each were taken to Egypt so that their lives would be spared; each provided bread for the hungry; both extended forgiveness to the very people who were responsible for their suffering.

"I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt! And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with your selves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you." Genesis 45: 4-5
