Eighth grade students interested in enrolling in Catholic Central High School, Burlington for the 2007/08 school year, are required to take a Freshman Admissions Test. This test, called the Explore Test, is the first in the ACT (American College Testing) series. Due to inclement weather, the test has been rescheduled to the morning of Monday, Feb. 12, 2007. Students taking this test must pre-register with the Catholic Central Admissions office by calling (262) 763-1510, ext. 225. The testing fee is $25 which covers testing, scoring and lunch. Dismissal will be at approximately noon, following lunch, unless testers remain to shadow a current student in the afternoon.
Catholic Central is a parochial, co-ed college-prep high school serving southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The first two phases of an Expansion Project are now completed at the school that includes a new, larger computerized library, additional classroom, distance learning lab, a new Art Studio and additional athletic facilities including an auxiliary gym. Phase III will renovate the current Topper Hall into a Performing Arts Center for the campus.
Transportation is available in many areas. All denominations are welcome. Financial aid has been increased to assist eligible families. Contact the Admissions Office at (262) 763-1510, ext. 225, to obtain the test paperwork or to receive more information on the high school.
