East Troy, Bay advance

Top-ranked East Troy broke open a close game with a big third quarter to earn a 6 4 - 4 4 WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal victory over Whitewater on Thursday night.
The Trojans (19-2) led just 25-24 at half, then put the game away with a 27-9 run to earn a date in Saturday's regional title game against Whitnall (14-7) at Wilmot at 1 p.m. Saturday's winner advances to the Sun Prairie sectional.
Alex Bondar scored 11 of his 15 points in the third quarter and Kyle Jones added 10 of his team-high 24 during the same span as the Trojans beat the Whippets for the third time this season.
Miles Hookstead scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Whippets (11-11), but nobody else scored more than seven for Whitewater.
Williams Bay 71, Faith Christian 35-The top-seeded Bulldogs (20-2) had a double-figure scorer in each of the first three quarters and advanced to Saturday's regional title game where they will play second-seeded Burlington Catholic Central in a 5 p.m. game at Lake Geneva Badger High School.
Williams Bay, ranked No. 10 in Division 4, got 10 firstquarter points from Ben Miller, 10 second-quarter points from Andrew Martin and 11 third-quarter points from Damian Brellenthin.
Brellenthin finished with 17 points. Martin also had 17 points and added 15 rebounds. Miller had 11 assists to go with his 10 points. Michael Hanley also had 10 points for the Bay.
Josh Sass scored a gamehigh 18 points to lead Faith Christian (14-8).
