Highlights

The Elkhorn Elks offense was in high gear rolling to a 38-13 win over Jefferson to remain undefeated. The Elks rushed for 257 yards and passed for 113 yards. Quarterback Eric Bryson also passed for two touchdowns, Alex Lockwood and Ethan Lockhart rushed for 85 and 80 yards respectively. Jefferson's John Simon carried the ball 14 times for 222 yards and the touchdowns.

Walworth Big Foot remained undefeated with a 19-0 win over Edgerton. The Chiefs converted two fumble recoveries into touchdowns. Kyle Haeberlin and Mike Crusan both returned fumble recoveries for scores

Joe Baumeister of Burlington rushed for 210 yards on 22 carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Demons to a 34-13 win over Muskego. Demon quarterback Kyle Reich also ran for two touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass to Baumeister.

Max Vos of Catholic Central scored three touchdowns; two on runs and caught one as the Hilltoppers beat Heritage Christian 41-7. Hilltopper quarterback Reese Hartledge was 8 of 11 for 237 yards and 3 touchdown passes.

UW-Whitewater quarterback Danny Jones threw 3 touchdowns passes as the Warhawks shutout Eau Claire 27-0. Jones for the game was 20 of 27 for 208 yards. The Warhawk defense held Eau Claire to 116 yards total offense.

Highlights, Sept. 14, 2007

--Ben Miller of Williams Bay threw four touchdown passes and ran for one as the Bulldogs beat Madison Abundant Life 43-6. Miller was 13 of 22 for 173 yards passing. Andrew Martin of the Bulldogs had two touchdown catches.

--Elkhorn's Ethan Lockhart rushed for 159 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Elks to a 34-13 win over Whitewater. As a team, Elkhorn rushed for 338 yards.

--Jaren Borland of Fort Atkinson had 27 carries for 149 yards and two touchdowns, leading Fort to a 21-14 upset win over Milton. The loss was the first for Milton in the Southern Lakes Conference play since a Sept 24, 2004 loss to Delavan-Darien.

--East Troy's Jacob Stollenwerk gained 145 yards on 15 carries including two touchdowns as the Trojans blanked Kenosha St Joe's 43-0.

--Max Vos of Catholic Central rushed for 190 yards and scored two touchdowns as the Hilltoppers beat Living Word Lutheran 33-10

--UW-Whitewater Warhawks had their 21 game regular-season winning streak snapped losing to St. Cloud St, Minnesota 26-16. Warhawk back Justin Beaver rushed 24 times for 177 yards to move into the top spot as all-time leading rusher in the WIAC conference history.

Quarterback Jared Stan of Badger rushed for 210 yards and scored four touchdowns, leading the Badger's to a 27-14 win over Wilmot. Stan scored on runs of 69, 48, 39 and 5 yards.

Elkhorn's offense rolled up 470 total yards and 27 first downs beating Fort Atkinson 31-3. Quarterback Eric Bryson passed for 168 yards and 1 touchdown, Ethan Lockhart rushed for 112 yards on 12 carries. Alex Lockwood scored two touchdowns

Mike Walker of Big Foot rushed for 152 yards on 11 carries including a touchdown run of 69 yards as the Chiefs beat Palmyra 52-6. Quarterback Andy Jinkins threw two touchdown passes.

Grant Bughman of Whitewater lead the Whippets to a 33-12 win over Delavan-Darien. Bughman threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more. Michael Gonzalez of Delavan threw two touchdown passes in the second half.

Williams Bay quarterback Ben Miller was 11 of 12 for 118 yards and two touchdown passes to lead the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs lost to Hustisford 35-20

Highlights

-- Lake Geneva Badger's defense held Delavan to 50 yards total offense in the second half in a 33-21 comeback victory. Badger trailed 21-7 at the half, Michael Gonzalez of Delavan threw two touchdown passes early. Brad Schank of Badger scored three touchdowns in the second half, Braden Tice had three interceptions, one returned for a touchdown to lead the Badgers in the second half.

-- Elkhorn scored on a 39-yard double pass in the final minute to beat Monona Grove 21-20. Drew White made a diving catch in the end zone on a throw from D.J. Krueger after he caught a lateral pass from quarterback Eric Bryson.

-- Milton's Justin Spaulding scored five touchdowns in leading Milton to a 40-27 win over Waukesha North. Spaulding finished with 143 yards on 20 carries and caught four passes for 42 yards.

--Grant Bughman of Whitewater threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns along with rushing for 58 yards and scored two more touchdowns as Whitewater beat Clinton 35-6.

-- Andy Jinkins of Big Foot threw two touchdown passes to Coty Kruckenberg to lead the Chiefs to a win over East Troy. Jinkins was 9 of 13 for 153 yards and three touchdowns overall.

-- UW-Whitewater opened up under new head coach Lance Leipold with a 41-7 win over Lakeland College. Justin Beaver led the Warhawks rushing 27 times for 138 yards and two touchdowns.
