Lake Geneva-- The Lake Geneva Public Library is hosting a nonpartisan candidate forum in anticipation of the April 4 Lake Geneva spring electi
That forum will be held at the library on Tuesday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m. in the Smith Meeting Room. All candidates running for Lake Geneva mayor, city council, Badger Board of Education and Joint No. 1 School District Board of Education, whether opposed or not, have been invited to provide a five-minute overview of their platform and then respond to audience questions.
Candidates invited include Pete Peterson and Sheldon O. Shepstone, running for city of Lake Geneva Mayor; Bill Chesen, Gary Dunham, Bob Flemming, Larry Magee, Nancy Russell and Tom Spellman, running for Lake Geneva City Council; John Druszcak, Tom Gardiner and Patrick Sherman, running for Badger High School Board of Education; and Bea Dale and Marcie Hollmann, running for Joint No. 1 Board of Education.

Geneva Lake West-- The Geneva Lake West Chamber of Commerce has its annual forum for candidates running for offices in the villages of Fontana, Williams Bay, Walworth and the townships of Linn and Walworth.
The forum will be held in the Harbor Ballroom of the Abbey Resort on Thursday, March 23, at 7 p.m. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks, as well as a cash bar will be available to all registered area voters.
The chamber, which serves Geneva Lake's west shore, is inviting the candidates to present brief statements about their candidacy and submit to questions from the public and members of the press, said Geneva Lake West Chamber president Bruce Bradshaw.
The chamber, a non-profit organization, is "dedicated to assisting local businesses to grow economically while maintaining the cultural beauty and civic welfare of the communities we serve," Bradshaw said in a press release.

Delavan--Candidates for Delavan mayor, aldermen and 18th district county supervisor have been invited to attend a forum Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of Community Bank, 820 Geneva St., Delavan.
