Geneva Lake West Chamber and The Abbey Resort to Host March 23 Candidate Forum
The Geneva Lake West Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend its annual Candidates Forum for local government offices for the Villages of Fontana, Williams Bay, Walworth, and the Townships of Linn and Walworth.
Generously hosted by the newly remodeled Abbey Resort in Fontana, the Forum will be held in the Harbor Ballroom on Thursday, March 23, beginning at 7 p.m. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks, as well as a cash bar will be available to all registered area voters.
The Chamber, which serves Geneva Lake's west shore, is inviting candidates for local offices to present brief statements about their candidacy and submit to questions from the public and members of the press. Geneva Lake West Chamber president Bruce Bradshaw stated, "We are pleased to pro vide an opportunity for candidates and voters to interact on the important issue that confront our local governments. We honor those citizens who make the commitment to serve our communities." The Chamber encourages members and the community at large to attend the forum to learn more about the candidates who will be on the April 4 ballot.
The Geneva Lake West Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit organization, founded in 1979.
