Darien Ponies win Palmyra tournament

Darien won the Pony League baseball tournament this past weekend in Palmyra., according to Alice Davis, coordinator for the Darien Youth Baseball.

Going into the tournament the team had a record of 13-1, losing only to the Palmyra Panthers.

Palmyra Panthers final standings 14-0 for the season.

The two teams met again in the tournament with Darien winning 9 to 5.
