This is too funny. Does art imitates life or life imitates art? Junker is a bit like Franz Liebkind from the play "The Producers". "Not many people know it, but the Fuhrer was a terrific dancer."
The truth is that more Germans starved, suffered and were displaced by Nazi actions than were helped by them. Compound that with the suffering inflicted on the rest of the world and I can tell you Hitler doesn't need something to remind us of his existence.

Thanks for posting the article. I am blown away by this and feel the need to post a different perspective. My father was born in 1917 in Russia and raised in Lithuania and Latvia as an ethnic German. He recalled newspaper articles-particularly at Easter- that depicted Jews as killing Christian babies. Anti-Semitism was part of the culture all over the world at that time. In some places, it was more ridiculous than in others. My father was what is called a Baltic German. His father was from a place once under German rule called Courland-now Latvia. My Dad spoke Lithuanian, Latvian, Russian and German. His father felt it was important that he be able to survive no matter who had power. His family’s first language was German and they identified themselves as ethnic German.
When my father went to East Prussia as a young man, to try to find work, he met my mother, fell in love and became a German citizen in 1939. That marriage did not really get going for 7 years because of that pesky war and it’s aftermath. I have the papers that required him to prove his Aryanism, a standard form that proudly displays a swastika. In order to work in East Prussia he needed to prove that he was indeed Arian for at least 4 generations. The important blank to fill was the one asking about religion.
My father served in the Luftwaffe. He did not join and was never a member of the Nazi party. He would tell us that the guys he served with were great guys. My mother said that all the boys in her graduating class were killed in the war. Both of them said that the war was crazy. My Dad said that Hitler did good things for Germany early on, and my mother cynically would add that preparing for war is always good for the economy. Their feeling about that time did not include pride. They both had posttraumatic stress because of what they survived and later being displaced. My mother was constantly preparing for “bad times’ and they were always expecting the rug to be pulled out from under us. My father often expressed guilt about surviving when so many people did not, my mother worried that we may have to go through the same things.
Neither of them witnessed the trains or camps, but they did notice the closing of Jewish businesses, Krystallnacht, of the odd disappearance of Jewish entertainers they once enjoyed seeing. After the war they were surprised to learn of the existence of Freud, and Einstein and other Jewish artists and writers. One of their friends at that time was a magician named Erwin Frankel. He went by the name of Frankoni. He was married to a Gentile German woman and toward the end of the war, they received half rations when full rations were a starvation diet. Frankel’s family were all in camps and none survived. How they died is not the issue. How many people have to suffer before we can call it a holocaust? Does it matter if they were gassed or if they died from starvation, exposure and overwork? Is Frankel's survival proof of Hitler’s benevolence?
When my father was on his deathbed, he told me that God would be angry with him after he dies. He was very agitated and said that the reason was that he was a Jew. I reminded him that he was Lutheran and he said no he was a Jew. I mentioned that his father was Lutheran and he said No he was Jewish too. I thought he was delirious so I tried to calm him but he remained agitated talking about how he has to have a Jewish funeral. Finally, I just went along with him and said that it must have been hard to keep that a secret all these years. And he got calmer and teary-eyed and said that it was. I told him that I really didn’t think that God would care and that they had been Lutheran for a long time it had nothing to do with him, it was the circumstances and the times. And he relaxed and agreed with me on that and was more like himself again. He passed away 2 months later.
The idea that Hitler was tolerant of the Jewish people is a delusion at best. My Dad, like many people, were so propagandized to the inferiority and evil of European Jewry that he felt that just having a few Jewish genes was something that he needed to keep hidden for survival and to assimilate into German ruled society. That is just one of the powerful effects that racism has on a human being. To live your life trying to surive and thrive in spite of the political powers that be-even before Hitler. Anit-Semitism exerted pressure to convert to Christianity as far back as 5 generations. This makes it hard to buy Junkers arguments about Hitler’s encouragement of diversity and religion. Hitler did not invent anti-Semitism but he and his friends elevated it to new heights.
Junker believes that history is a lie. It’s very hard not to look at the volumes of documentation needed to prove Aryanism, or the Hitler stamps on correspondence from a child in a concentration camp. Hitler created hell on earth for so many people-a hell that was also inescapable for many Germans who did not feel as Junker did about it. History can be interpreted many ways but cold hard documentation is impossible to ignore and there’s a lot of it. Books and films that have come out of Germany give a much clearer picture of Hitlers legacy and what it means to real Germans than anything that comes out of Hollywood, and when it does memorialize Hitler (Downfall) it does so in a very accurate way. I feel sad for Mr. Junker that he can’t let go of the pride he feels for his ancestry. If I was in his shoes, I’d be thankful for Hitler only because without him he would have been raising his family in Romania as an ethnic German. Life is a heck of a lot easier in Millard.
it's ironic that this man junker would pick the u.s. to spread his story after all these years and still have the belief that he somehow may be arrested for his actions . I believe he still doesn't understand america and is doing this to serve purpose to his own life.My father, a ww11 vet, to this day will not talk about certain things, but is very proud of the fact he was involved .Mr Junkers actions, although questionable, are allowable in this country and if you are not born and raised here, cannot fully understand what america is all about. Mr. Junker should be more thankful for being able to raise a family and grow old peacefully.If WE, the UNITED STATES had lost the war, do you think this article or even the newspaper would be here today?

One thing that I observed as a child listening to adults that lived through all this in Europe is that the less of a real "German" they were the more they defended Nazi ideology. Not the holocaust-that was always delicately sidestepped or denied. Perhaps the forced expulsion, defeat and revulsion from the rest of the world made that shaky position that ethnic Germans had of their own identity as Germans even shakier, making it harder to accept and define who you were and are. What that taught me was that undue pride of ethnicity, or nationalism of any kind, anywhere(including America), should raise a red flag in all of us.
I also suspect that there is a certain unresolved shame and guilt that accompanies this. The truth is that most people at that time had no control over the direction of their lives and Fascism gave many the illusion of control. Smoke and Mirrors. If Hitler was so great what possessed Thomas Mann-a real honest to goodness German -to write the short story Mario and the Magician in 1929? It wasn’t too hard to see an even bleaker future when the choices presented were communism or fascism.

I'm sure Mr. Junker loves the free publicity he's getting for his monument.
The Department of Justice is very interested in people like Mr. Junker. They have a department that specializes in cases like his. According to their web page: The Office of Special Investigations detects and investigates individuals who took part in Nazi-sponsored acts of persecution abroad before and during World War II, and who subsequently entered, or seek to enter, the United States illegally and/or fraudulently. It then takes appropriate legal action seeking their exclusion, denaturalization and/or deportation.
Visit the DOJ website to see how many ex-Nazis are still being stripped of their citizenship to this day. This is due process and enforcement of the law. Something that the victims of Nazism were denied.
Did Mr. Junker mention his Waffen-SS affiliation when he applied for US citizenship so many years ago? I doubt it. Does this qualify as entering the US fraudulently?
He shouldn't be surprised if Dept of Justice officials attend his grand opening on June 25th. They will be made aware of this special event and Mr. Junker's history.

I grew up in a gentile family, neighborhood, schools, and society. My information is predominently what I have read and published. I have never heard this side of the story. My father-in-law is a German and I had to listen to him for years tell us this entire story was fabricated by the Jewish press. As a child I was not allowed to even mention anything about the Jewish community. My Christian schooling always blamed Jews for the anti-Christ movement. Junker must be trying to bring self fullfillment into his own life. Maybe he is not proud of his children, work, community, and other interactions that fill his life. This is a real stretch swinging Hitler from goat to hero. I know the evidence is very strong about the Waffen-Schutzstaffel (SS) actions and the Hitler movement. Remember about 20 years ago the young German Nazi movement started up along with the KKK. Both these groups attracted every loser society had to offer. Many Germans are real proud and full of themselves and are in search of identity. Many Germans become so proud and dignified they can no longer see the truth. I'm not turning this into a German beating but I know first hand the hard and full egos that the decendents of the Third Reich live with. I am a decendent of the Third Reich.
This is ruling from a 2005 appeal of a man who insisted that as an ethnic German he was conscripted into the Waffen SS in Romania. Like Junker-whether he joined or was drafted makes no difference.
“Joseph Wittje served during World War II as a member
of the Waffen SS. That service, regardless of its nature or
voluntariness, rendered Wittje ineligible for a visa at the
time he applied for one. Summary judgment was, therefore,
appropriate in favor of the United States. Wittje’s arguments

Wittje’s timeline of service, immigration and overall ethnic background mirror that of Junkers. The only way to have been able to gain admission to the US with refugee status-under the Displaced persons act of 1948 (amended in 1950 to restrict Communist influences)- would be by not disclosing his membership in the SS. Personally, I don’t believe deportation would make any difference to him at this point in his life considering the depth of his feelings. The Donau-Schwaben-and other Ethnic Germans of that area, like many ethnic and eastern Germans did suffer quite a bit after World War I. Hitler’s idea of reaching out to all “Germans”-in these regions was facilitated through the use of the SS. The Nazi party recruited and utilized these often willing young people of German descent to gain strength in parts of Europe that were once included in the “second reich” so to speak.
Unlike Wittje however, Junker takes pride in his choices and ideology. When so many millions of people were displaced and only 400,000 were allowed to immigrate from 48 to 50 (More documentation was needed after 1950), the idea that Junker's immigration prevented or made it harder for someone who really was displaced in spirit and circumstances to come over really bugs me.

This man is an embarrassment to all of those who came from small rural areas such as Walworth County, and were wounded, or died fighting for our freedoms.
It is hard for me to imagine why "The Week" would decide to cover this unrepentant Nazi. But maybe this article was done to show us that hatred lives in all areas, including ours.

My hat is off to you Heir Junker, for the courage of your convictions.
Maybe the best response, is no response at all. The KKK, Neo-Nazis, Skinheads all have their public marches. They want people to show up - supporters and protestors alike. I plan to ignore Mr. Junker and not give him my time of day. He obviously wants the attention that I refuse to give him. I spent one half hour of my time on Mr. Junker, and that was to report him to the proper authorities in Washington. The posters above provided details about other people like Mr. Junker. Let the courts deal with him. He not worthy of any more of my time.
If Junker had done this in America when he was 37 instead of when he was 87 that would have been courage of conviction. Doing this at 87 is a bit like being a suicide bomber. Had he stayed in crowded, devasted West Germany or gone back to Romania to make a life and take his stand-now that would have been courageous.
According to Walworth County Government Online (www.co.walworth.wi.us/taxroll.nsf) - Theodor Junker last appeared on the county tax roles in 2001. He mentioned that he modified his will in the article. Does that mean that he is no longer the owner of that property? If a family member, or someone else, now owns the property, isn't that person responsible for what takes place on that land? Whoever owns the land that the monument stands on might want to take some responsibility.

When my parents, and my husbands parents were in their 80's no matter how sharp they were they needed their family to help them make decisions. I really believe that Junker's age has clouded his judgment as old age and youth tend to do to a person. Not saying that his beliefs weren't always what he states in the article, but voicing them in this way is another thing. I can’t help thinking how terribly embarrassing this must be for his children and grandchildren.

If he's so proud to be a German, and Hitler made Germany better than it was before the war, how come he was such an eager-beaver to move to the States? All you have to do is check out that one picture of him with that huge set of choppers and those pinprick pupils--and you know he's living in his own little made-up world.
I get your point- but the point he's made about him making things better in Germany refers to before the war-he means the 1933 to 39 period. The social programs he enacted were not unlike those that FDR enacted here-social security for example. The difference is Roosevelt did not then invade Poland and France, persecute and enslave millions of people of Jewish descent etc etc. Junkers is a selective historical perspective-like always looking on the bright side of life. :-/
At the time he immigrated Germany and it's infrastructure was bombed out. About 14 million homeless people: ethnic German refugees from the Baltics, Poland, Romania, Czechoslovakia etc, the former population of East Prussia and those who fled East Germany were crowded into what we now know as West germany. There were also the Jewish people that did survive. Kind of like post katrina New Orleans magnified. Without the benevolent humanity of the Americans and the Marshall Plan, the British and Candians toward Hitler's defeated Reich things would have been much worse in the post war period.
That's Hitler's "gift" to the world. Ironically the word gift in German means poison.
This is a poorly written article. The author does not manage to maintain her credibility, nor her critical thinking skills. With the following statement by the author about the IHR website, she reveals her lack of discernment - "But the compelling evidence they present shows that Auschwitz was not an extermination center and that the story of mass killings in 'gas chambers' is a myth. "
The IHR documentation has been shown to be faulty and deliberately misleading. As a fellow journalist, I expect better investigation of the story from my colleague, and not blind acceptance of propaganda.

Finally, a fresh perspective on the overplayed and untrue version of the "facts" of the holocaust. It is nice to hear from one who was there and knows what happened first hand, as opposed to the slanted story we've been told all our lives by people who weren't even yet alive.
I like how all the "anonymous" writers are the ones who are too cowardly to stand up for their beliefs. I, for one, think he is a great man and should be treated as such. There are many good things that Hitler did that are not common knowledge. All we were ever told is "EVIL, KILLED JEWS!!" He also united a whole nation against the rest of the world! Quite a feat. Let's see any current government or leader do that!

The end only justifies the means if the outcome is the desired one. Clearly, even Hitler did not want this outcome-or he would have come out of the bunker.
Also there is a lot of good and accurate historical information out there if one is interested enough to read it. Common knowledge is always narrowly focused on specific events. There are plenty of things about American History and current events that are not common knowledge either. If people want more than that the information is out there.
At least one of his signs, misleading as it may be, has some basis in truth.
Hitler did bring work, bread, and dignity back to the German people through public works projects. It's all Keynes, man.
Hitler did provide Germany with social security, and health care through massive governmental social wellfare.
Hitler did unite the people with his promise and deliverment of better living conditions in German after the Weimar Republic and war reparations. And he did have a goal to unite Europe.. although in a very genocidal and uh... brutal fashion.
He did provide a direction for the future.. although a uh... kind of genocidal and brutal one.
And maybe that's why the German people of that day and age loved him so.

Scoop is right. The writer is either a revisionist, or terribly naive to present such discredited sources as serious. The editor certainly should have removed or changed that part of the article.
This is the limit. Everybody who written a comment isn't from Europe. I am from The Netherlands and every year on the 4th and 5th of May we commemorate the liberation of the Netherlands.
The US has until 9/11 never been attacked on its soil and after that everybody in the US wanted to bomb the rest of the world. No take that feeling and multiply it by a 1000 and the you will feel what the people felt in the Netherlands and in the rest of Europe when the Nazi's where in power.
The Waffen SS was an elite fighting unit, with some very bad people in the. My advise is to send Mr. Junker to Israel so the can investigate him if he did war crimes. Instead of leaving him do this.
Or send him to the Netherland on 4th of May so he can stand in Scheveningen where a big bell is rung and the names of all the resistance people are called out let him do that.
If I had made a memorial saying that 9/11 wasn't real and that the pentagon directed the plane's into the twin towers and made a memorial for Osama Bin Laden how would you react?? I think you know the answer! Please do the same for the rest of the world!

No one seems to want to know the fact that Hitler had no Money!! Economics was very bad, all over the world, and America called in their loans from Germany, so Germany was completely broke!! But what happened? A grand-father og George Bush arranged money for Germany UNOFFICIAL, this has been reported by the BBC, who invertigated the matter and found black on white evidence, with a signature from the Bush at that time. The US was after Germany, just as they did with Iraq, and they would like to do now with Iran.
Allways the same story....
But at the end it doesn't matter what you believe, just believe that you have to act right to all people, and don't convict anything unless you've seen both sides of the penny!!

Mr. Junker has inspired me to open up my own museum. It will be a dog turd museum. It will have dog turds of every size,shape,and color. And dog turds from around the world. I think that my museum would be far superior to Mr. Junker's museum because he only has one piece of shit in his!!!

nteresting to hear a perspective from there. Quite a few people here who wrote have European roots-or were "there", so to speak. I wasn't born here either. I've dealt with and examined my "Germanic" roots for a lifetime. The sterotypes surrounding being German are often hard to take. It's not easy being a kid and knowing that many people view you as "Nazi spawn". :-)
The problem with accepting what someone who was "there" says as unqualifed truth is that truth is subjective. You get the "Rashomon effect" which is basically "That's not how I see it"
To truly understand this time-if that's even possible-one needs to get a global perspective. Testimony from individuals who were "there" is important in understanding, but combined with other facts and testimonies the truth is never quite so black and white. I think that this is the problem with revisionism-like any "ism" (fascism for instance) it views history through too narrow lens.
In my Wisconsin there are numerous daily killings in the abortion rooms. I cannot walk safely on the streets , narcotics peddlars , porno pedlars and
pedophillic schills pack the media ( not to mention quite often the streets.)
The media loves its dope clowns , its caucasian hating rappers , its mysogynistic gays , its own lies about everything. Who are the media?

Forget the big issue stuff. Let's start with the details of the guy's life. Real or fabricated?
Did this guy actually serve in Germanyin WWII? What unit? What rank? Do his recollections of where the unit was and what it did jibe with the actual record? These things aren't obscure, if he says he was in Norway and the unit was in Russia, baddabing. Did he actually come to this country in 1963? Is any part of his story actually corroborated by a paper trail of records and passports and immigration records?
Hook line and sinker. For all we really know, he's delusional about the whole thing and grew up as a rabbi's son in Brooklyn.

Of course he can speak out-but free speech does not come without a price. If the consequence of his free expression is deportation due to misprepresenting his background in order to immigrate,
that's the consequence of his speaking out.
If people disagree with what he's saying they also have the right to speak out against it and debate that point in public without fear of reprisal from the government at least in the US.
However, if Junker or you or I were to buid a Hitler memorial, assuming that we immigrated legally, the only fear we would need to have would not be from the government but would be from the community. For example-If that was the case and someone vandalized Junkers property they would be subject to consequneces just like anyone else.

Are we really surprised by the fact that a former SS officer would feel comfortable enough to build a shrine to Hitler in Walworth County? I'm not. The Fundamentalism in this area is virulently anti-Semitic and homophobic; racist remarks are still common place, and I have heard several people from outside the area comment that Walworth County reminds them of the Deep South--prior to the civil rights movement.
As far as I'm concerned Walworth County posted a want ad for this demented indvidual and now they are shocked, SHOCKED, by the fact that someone answered the invitation.
I'm not. In a few weeks we will have a demented monument to hatred and sociopathy, a watering hole for every racist, bully, thug, and homophobe within driving distance. Welcome to good old Walworth County where the unofficial County anthem is "Deutschland Deutschland Uber Alles."

If I am informed correctly everybody has the right to state his believes both in Germany an in America. I guess it's the so called "Freedom Of Speech".
So if this old man believes that Herr Hitler was a great man that wanted to help Germany and the Jews and the known world or even the whole universe then let him build and open his museum.

I have visited several Konzentrationslager. I saw the brigs where you can't stand or lie in. I saw the ovens where the peolple were burnt. I saw the scratchings the people made with their fingernails into the walls.
It is a very weired and scary thing to be there....
What scares me even more is that america is on its best way to become a totalitarian country.
It is already bigod and has a double moral. The american government states it wants other countries to become democratic and to maintain the human rights but they use military power to achieve that goal.
I don'nt need to point out that this is not the real reason for Americas last "conflicts" but economic reason are.
But to stay on real facts and not my beliefs: America attacks other countries to instate human rights and democracy but in america still exists the death penalty. America means to be an constitutional state but has things like the "Prison" in Guantanamo Bay where inmates have no human rights.
The inmates are tortured, "waterboarded" for example (sorry that i don't know the correct term), many inmates had no trial before they got arrested. America states that the prison is on "lawless space"...
And by the way: You just can't change the peoples mind with gunpower! When does America learn that their weapons are not the solution?!

After the Jewish holocaust became a huge commercial enterprise in the seventies, almost every American war veteran I knew at the time claimed to have seen "the bodies" or "ash pits." Assuming they were telling the truth, I'd like "Scoop" to tell us where the bodies or ashes of these gassed or burned alive victims are located. I'd also like "Scoop" to explain exactly how and by whom (name,organization, etc.) the Institute of Historical Review has been discredited.
Mr. Junker is no better than any other hate group who decides to use the one thing this country gives them "freedom of speech" to use for his own advantage. He will get free publicity, all the attention he wants from TV stations and start a protest that will further feed the frenzy.Walworth County dealt with the KKK Klowns several years ago, at what cost to the county? Now we are expected to put up with this Nazi and any of his cronies, who decided to come for a visit to worship there hero.If he was really in the SS why isn't he in jail?

Thanks for printing this article. It is about time that someone examined the reality of the situation in Europe, and the Third Reich. The truth is not as we have been told, and it is only the repression of the truth about this most disasterous war that maintains the illusion that most call history. Any objective person,who considers both sides, and all the evidence, will establish that men like Germar Rudolf and Ernst Zundel are correct, and that the so-called 'holocaust' was nothing more than propaganda.
The best book written by the opposition to the 'holocaust' myth is Dissecting the Holocaust: the Growing Critique of 'Truth' and 'Memory'. It is an excellent read, and anyone with the courage to read it will have his or her eyes opened.

If this was a museum devoted to the accomplishments of homosexual artists, then we'd all be expected to fawn over it and declare it a great day for the First Amendment. I mentioned earlier how the American war vets I knew as a teenager in the 1970's spoke of seeing "the bodies" and "the ashpits" of the Jews who died in the gas chambers. If this is true, then I'd really like to know where all the solid forensic is located. Strangely, my school teachers never showed me so much as one autopsy report where gassing by Zyklon B was listed as the cause of death. All I was able to locate were reports of death from typhus, which ran rampant through the camps when the German infrastructure collapsed during the last three to six months of the war. I'd also like to know which American Army units were in the so-called death camps. Does journalist "Scoop" know? I have to wonder about this because several of the vets I spoke to were Marines and sailors, and it occurs to me that if they could lie to a youngster, then so might the US Army vets -the overwhelming majority of whom could not have been anywhere near the camps at the time of liberation -be lying.

It is very sad to see the average American citizen spew garbage such as the "one of the most well documented events" in hiostory. There is virtually no forensic evidence that points to any of the camps being death camps. A far as the IHR reports, there are very few that are factually in the wrong. Numerous scientists have been employed by both sides to check out the supposed gas chammers at Auschwitz and all came to the same conclusion; there is no presence of prussian blue in amounts greater than in the other buildings that were also deloused with zyklon-b. A jew, David Cole, made a documentary at the Auschwitz camp and had interviews with two of the the guides and the camp director. It is all on film as they tour the facility and admit that they lie to visitors when they say the "gas chambers" are in the same condition now as they were then. A blatant lie admitted on film by the camp director as he admitts that the "gas chambers' were produced after the war by the Soviets. Why was the plaque at Auschwitz recently changed from 4 million to 1 million? Where are the other 3 million? Why do groups like the ADL and WJC still propogate 6 million when most scholars admit about a million total and most often from typhus? Its the shakedown for cash from banks in Switzerland. The AMERICAN Red Cross was in all of the camps, why did they not speak of such killings? The Allied bombers made daily passes over Auchwitz and took photos and guess what, of the thousands of photos, not one shows smoke from bodies burning or lines of people waiting to be gassed. For all you brave people behind the keyboard, produce one document that shows forensic data proving mass murders in camps. By the way, 50 some odd million died in WWII, so why are jews so special? Members of the British Royal Artillery 63rd Anti-Tank Regiment liberated Belsen on April 15, 1945, and arrested its commandant, Josef Kramer. The relief operation which followed was directed by Brigadier H. L. Glyn-Hughes, Deputy Director of Medical Services of the Second Army.
Soldiers from the Third U.S. Army division found more than 20,000 people in the camp, 4,000 of them Jews. Approximately 56,000 people were murdered in the Buchenwald camp system, the majority of them after 1942.
The Flossenburg camp was liberated on April 23, 1945, by the 2nd U.S. Calvary.

My friend's father survived, but his father perished there.
While my friend was growing up, her father never spoke of his experience, as is true of many holocaust survivors, due to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). But in his later years he has done a lot of healing. He now goes around to Houston schools to tell his story, and he speaks to groups about it at the Houston Holocaust Museum. This is a huge breakthrough for him.

Its about time someone brought this up. Junker is a very brave man. My father was born in Belarus a seen first hand why most of Eastern Europe fought along side Hitler. The jews who always were the big communist agitators before the war, would be placed in top posts by the occupying Soviets. I went to visit some of my fathers friends and relatives in Europe who lived during this time and what they told me was shocking. After I got home from Europe I looked this stuff up and found that in the 20's and 30's and 40's all the top communists were jews! Its no wonder people hated them so much. I then read more about the so called "Holocaust" and found out that the only "Gas Chambers" that were found were in Poland at Auschwitz. This room that is 12 by 16 feet long, never had a scratch on it and after testing them it was found out that they were built after the war! I read more and more and my whole world was changed. I then found out that the jews own 95% of all the media in America! This is why I've been taught these lie's since I entered grade school. I urge everyone to go out and learn this because the jews are pulling a fast one on us. If the jews are so sure of this story lets have a conference about it. Does anyone know who condemned Christ to death? Does anyone beleive?
Some people just don't get it. Call if you want to join me to protest on opening day. Ridiculous. "We good people of Walworth don't' agree with you" Who fucking cares if you agree. Do you think that someone was associating Walworth county with a Nazi movement? No, it's just one old guy with a story to tell. And yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if he does go to jail or something now. It wouldn't be the first time an SS agent was found out and done away with by powers with government influence in the last few years.
I think all of his points are very valid. History is written by the victors. And yeah a lot of Jews died in concentration camps. But while the Germans were very good about keeping records of everything they did even it it didn't look good, they can't seem to find any records of the murder of Jews or gassing of any kind.
The whole of the historical evidence that we tend to rely on is focused on the rage and horror of the conditions and the vast numbers of dead. Millions of Jews died in that period of the Nazi controlled government. No one denies that. But you can't ignore the fact that there is no evidence that it was intentional murder of those millions. The Jews weren't the only people to die in that time. Germany was being absolutely crushed militarily on all sides toward the end of the war. And I think it's reasonable to assert that the horribly overcrowded camps where the Jews were being moved to for export from Germany would be the last to get food, supplies and medical attention. Do you think that we would be all for equally spreading the limited rations of everything to our prisons if we were in a similar situation in the US? Hell no! Prisoners would probably get nothing at all if we were in a shortage and civilians and military were starving.
The Nazi party for all it's unpopularity in the world after the war, had a grand dream for Europe. And a critical part of that dream, and of Nationalism in general is a homogeneous culture and race of people sharing the same land. Most of us in the US don't like the idea of racial segregation, but it is one of many natural forces of social structures. And Hitler and the Nazi party were embracing that natural force with the removal of Jews from Germany and the encouragement of Aryan races to regroup. While I'm sure many people had a hatred of Jews in that time, just as many do even in this day and age where they control much of the banking system, the popular media, the pornography industry, the educational systems, Hollywood and countless other influential industries, that was not necessary to the central goal of creating a racially homogeneous society. Only the removal was necessary, not the ill will or a desire for the Jews to suffer or die.
It's hard to present any real evidence for something in history when the primary focus is on the emotion of the story and most who lived then are dead now. But consider the many factors in why it's to the advantage of the winning side to present "The" holocaust in such a dramatic way. Consider the US support for Israel. Consider the false flag events of the past to get the people of a nation behind a war effort. Consider 9-11 and think about the brand new owner of the world trade center. Think about the many respected professors and engineers claiming that it seemed to be an intentional event, not by terrorists, but sanctioned by more local powers. Think about how 9-11 became a driving force for the erosion of the civil liberties in America. Think about how the fight on terror which was drawn from 9-11 was turned to be used in our quest for oil in Iraq.
Today's popular portrayal of the holocaust of WWII has seeds of truth to accompany it's emotional message. But it is also most definitely a political tool used to sway the public opinion in support of the current actions being taken by our government.
In writing this defense of the man in Walworth county, I probably come across as anti-semitic. In reality I'm only saying that things are a lot deeper than they seem. Jewish people are smart. And they have a culture all their own. They also tend to have a feeling of superiority that can be summarized by the religious statement "We are the chosen people. Sorry, you have to be born into it.". They advocate racial tolerance to keep from being a target in the societies they live among. But while the advocate racial tolerance, they have a strong force of self segregation in their own culture. They don't prefer racial mixing for themselves.
I'm not taking any side. I don't believe in sides. I just believe in what is provable and what is storytelling. We have all heard the story of the victors many times. Now when some old guy stands up in his last years and feels like he has nothing to lose by telling his side, people crawl out of the woodwork to say "You may have the right to say such things because we live in America, but you are wrong because I feel strongly about it!"

From a purely technical standpoint: Would it have been too much trouble for the reporter to interview a few more people and include them? Single-source stories, even ones of noteworthy people (I do not mean that to connote approval or even likeability), should at least include a few other voices to show the writer did their homework. What do the neighbors think? What about the family? A historian? Anybody else?

Historical revisionists are always attacked by those that don't believe in them. Howard Zinn-a respected Historian and author of the Peoples History of the US is also attacked by groups that called him a revisionist. What that is called in Western culture is debate.
